A while back I was approached by JerrysArtarama.com to do a review of the 120 Set of Cezanne Colored Pencils. I have been so busy with getting my class ready for the fall semester at UFL that I hardly had the time to do a proper review until now. The pencils arrived in a beautiful sturdy tin. I created this short little video to give you my honest opinion of them. I hope you enjoy it! Please let me know if you have purchased them, worked with them and what you think!
If you are interested in trying them out they are SUPER AFFORDABLE! Click here to purchase.

I have had them for a few months. I like their creamy texture.
They do not have any information on lightfastness, so I am doing my own, took a red, blue and green and have them up on my window for the last few months. Will let them up for one more month. I’ll let you know how it turns up.
Also did prismacolor, caran de arche, Fabre castellated too.
Best wishes. Stay safe & healthy,
Linda Ryan Jones
Hi Linda, Thanks for leaving a comment. I have only used them to do this one drawing. The color range is really nice but I totally agree with you about the lightfastness issue. It is SOOOOOOOO important to use permanent colors when you are selling or giving away your art. Some colors fade so quickly ruining the art. I will be interested to hear what you discover in your testing. I am suspicious of their archival permanency because of the price. Lightfast pigments may not be more expensive but are certainly a consideration for quality. Please keep me posted! Happy drawing and painting! Mindy
Hi Mindy!
Thanks for your excellent summary of the pros and cons of these pencils. I, too, own a number of different makes of pencils and am not looking to expand my collection right now, but it’s always good to hear what’s new.
And It was so good to hear your voice after all these years. Wayne and I moved to a retirement community in Sarasota (Bay Village) in December, and are enjoying our easy lifestyle.
Warm regards,
Charlotte
Hi Charlotte! Wonderful to hear from you! So glad to hear you are enjoying your new home. I am not sure I will use them too much as I have some real favorites in terms of brands and colors but I can see using them in my classes at UFL where the students don’t have the $$$ to purchase art supplies. Be happy, safe and creative! ~ Mindy
