As a fairly new student in the world of creating art, I was doing well but felt that my drawing skills could benefit from some instruction. Having seen many of Mindy’s drawings and paintings over the past year and having seen her on-line tutorials, I felt her course would be most beneficial. While challenging, Mindy’s lessons were so well presented and explained that I sailed along learning the many techniques required to create an accurate drawing of the subject. It is said that you don’t know what you don’t know and that is so true. Going through the exercises in each lesson was a wonderful building block learning experience that will help me develop further in my drawing and sketching abilities.

Mindy is also online with her students on a daily basis with additional lessons through critique and examples and responds to email questions in a timely manner. Clearly, she is an excellent instructor and practices what she teaches as seen in her own beautiful works. I am looking forward to continuing with Mindy in her new class on Drawing Plants. Students on all levels owe it to themselves to spend the time it takes to develop solid drawing skills with Mindy Lighthipe.
