Emerald Toucanet

Emerald Toucanet- Aulacorhynchus prasinus

The Emerald Toucanet is a smaller bird from the other toucans we normally see. It has a smaller bill with the bottom mandible dark black in color. They are gregarious and frequently gather in groups of up to about 10. I have not been able to see such a gathering of a flock of toucanets but knowing this, I will be on the look out!
