Frog Card- Masked Tree Frog

Masked Tree Frog- Smilisca phaeota

The Masked Tree Frog is a small camouflaged frog of Central America. It is easy to identify by the dark brown mask above and below the eyes. It is mostly active at night. The large eyes have horizontal pupils! They can change colors depending on where they are perched. Sometimes they are green sometimes brown, but they always wear their mask!
