Owl Card- Spectacled Owl

Spectacled Owl – Pulsatrix perspicillata

The Spectacle Owl is identified by its white pattern around the eyes and onto the facial disc, with bright yellow eyes. They live in Central America into South America. They are large tropical owls living mostly in the deep parts of the rainforest. This owl was injured and rescued by the Toucan Rescue Ranch in Costa Rica and has re-wilded after being rehabilitated.
