I love the Chisel BRUSH for watercolor!!!! My favorite was the Loew Cornel’s Comfort Grip chisel brush and to my dismay….they discontinued it. I searched the internet to find a suitable substitute and found some. Here is a video I did to help you to know the characteristics I find most useful with the chisel brush. It is my go to brush for lifting veins on leaves.
This video also includes how to use the rake brush……. It is great for doing fur and feathers!

Use a dry rabbit foot stencil brush for fur texture. Comes in many sizes. Cover the whole brush with one base color then dip the tip in another for the highlight – all in one tapping stroke.
Thanks Karen! I will look for this brush.
I really want to go on your next trip to Costa Rica – please keep me informed.
Thank you,
Bonnie
